The first of two volumes taken from the manuscript of 1790 written about Mother Mariana by Fr Pereira and translated by Dr Horvat.
Our Lady asked her to become an expiatory victim for the impurity, heresies, and blasphemies that would be unleashed on the Church in the 20th century.
She agreed to the Holy Mother’s request, thus linking herself to our times in a special way.
Her extraordinary life story was written in 1790 by Fr Pereira, a Franciscan priest, to whom she appeared in a vision 150 years after her death.
His work is here presented for the first time in English.
