A warm welcome to our new website
Catholic Tradition is relaunching its website, with a vibrant new look and a greatly extended and improved range of products.
The dedication and ethos of our company have remained the same, and we still aim to provide Traditional Catholics with all of their material needs in one online store.
But the range of our stock has
been expanded and enhanced, with more vestments, mantillas, cards and rosaries, for example.
This is a process which will continue into the future, as we add more and more product pages to different sections.
We also hope you will find this site much easier to use, with a clearer layout and more information
about many of the items. It was necessary to drop PayPal because of its support for US birth control organisation Planned Parenthood, but we hope you will find our order form system clear and easy to use.
If you have any comments or requests, please let us know using the contact form. Thank you for your custom, and God bless you.
Dedicated to Our Lady of Good Success

ETWEEN 1594 and 1634, Our Lady of Good Success appeared to the devout Conceptionist nun Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres at the Royal Monastery of the Immaculate Conception in Quito, Ecuador, where she left an astonishing series of prophesies which foretold with remarkable accuracy the crisis of the Church in our time.
The Holy Mother said her apparitions would “only become known to the general public in the 20th century”, but that “shortly after the middle of the 20th century ... passions will erupt and there will be a total corruption of customs, for Satan will reign almost completely.
“The Catholic spirit will rapidly decay. The Devil will try to persecute ministers of the Lord ... and will corrupt many of them.”
But even in this dark time the Queen of Heaven promised that there would still be “a small number of souls who, hidden, will preserve the treasure of the faith and virtues”.
In the end, as she repeated at Fatima in 1917, the Holy Mother said that when evil appeared to have triumphed “I, in a marvellous way, will dethrone the proud and accursed Satan, trampling him under my feet and fettering him in the infernal abyss”.
The painting shows Mary during the second of these apparitions, in January 1599. She is taking Mother Mariana’s waist cord to measure her height after telling the nun that Jesus wanted her to have a life-sized statue of his Holy Mother made to stand in the monastery.
Mary gave one end of the cord to her infant son, who held it up to the top of her forehead. Although it was not actually long
enough, the cord stretched miraculously down to Mary’s toes, measuring her at 5ft 9in tall.
“The rest of my measurements are in proportion to this,” said Mary. The Church gave official approval to the apparitions in 1611.
Today, Catholic Tradition is seeking to support those souls who are trying, in an increasingly hostile secular world, to keep and maintain the true Catholic faith. To this end, we join our constant prayers with yours for the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
