HE traditional practice

among women of wearing a veil or mantilla finds its Biblical premise in 1 Corinthians, chapter 11, where St Paul says: "Every man praying or prophesying with his head covered disgraceth his head.

    "But every woman praying or prophesying with her head not covered disgraceth her head." He adds: "You yourselves judge: doth it become a woman to pray unto God uncovered?"

    All of the Mantillas and veils offered by Catholic Tradition are hand made by traditionalist seamstresses.

    While many of the head coverings for use by ladies in church are held in stock, larger or more exceptional items can be made to order.
